INTRODUCTION
(1 Pet 4:17 KJV) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
In the midst of a particularly ominous passage in the 10th chapter of Matthew, Jesus tells his disciples, "So do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known." Jesus is being made to appear a liar these days because much is being hidden, and that which is being hidden appears to be nowhere near being made known.
What is being hidden? The true government of the United States of America. Who is responsible for these things being hidden? Christians. And like the boy in the fairy tale about the Emperor who wore no clothes but thought he did, it is time someone stood up and said loud and clear that Christians are now bare-assed naked in front of the whole world.
I know those are shocking words if you are a Christian. But since Jesus is no liar, sooner or later all this is going to become public knowledge. This book is my attempt to make that knowledge come sooner rather than later.
Christians and the Christian consensus they have formed have become the primary obstacle preventing people from understanding the government founded in 1776 with the issuing of the Declaration of Independence. The Christian insistence that the United States of America was created to be a Christian nation, that the government of the United States of America was created to be a Christian government, have placed an enormous stumbling block in the path of people who are trying to understand the nation they have inherited, and have enormously confounded people who are trying to understand how to act responsibly in an increasingly complex and confusing world.
If I need to prove my assertion that a Christian consensus is attempting to persuade people that this government was created by the Founding Fathers to be a Christian government by documenting the fact, then I'm afraid this book is not for you. Christians have invested an enormous amount of capital--intellectual, spiritual, moral, and financial: the evidence is all around every citizen in this nation. If there is anyone who has failed to note the phenomenon, it is inconceivable to me that they will be able to follow anything I have to say in this book. But if you have noticed the phenomenon, regardless of the significance you have attributed to it, this book is for you.
There are some things every citizen of the United States of America needs to see: It is time the citizens of the United States of American came face to face with the government that was created out of the blood, sweat, tears--and yes prayers--of the men and women who founded this nation over two hundred years ago and bequeathed it to each succeeding generation as a living memorial to the ideals and goals that gave the founders of the United States of America the courage to fight and triumph over the most powerful forces on this planet. When we see the Founders, we will see that some but not all, were Christians; some but not all, were good men; some but not all, were wise men. But all--without exception--believed that there was a Creator out there who had endowed all men with inalienable rights. That is not only a Christian idea, it is a Jewish idea, and a Muslim idea, and a Deistic idea--in fact it is a idea that can be embraced by any person on earth who believes that there is a Being who exists independent of the mind of man who created the Universe and one way or another still holds court over the affairs of men. But Christians today have forgotten what every Founder of this nation held in common, and forgetting it have fulfilled what the bitter and cynical Frenchman Voltaire prophesied when he told us that "History is a joke the living play on the dead." Because Christians have forgotten where we came from, a Revolution has occurred in the United States of America and the nation created by the Founding Fathers now exists in name only--their government has been destroyed.
