GOD DAMNED CHRISTIANS |
Isn't a God damned Christian an oxymoron? Aren't Christians, by definition, saved from the wrath of God? How could such a Christian be damned by God? To understand how and why it is possible to talk about God damned Christians it is necessary to understand why Jesus Christ talked about God damned Pharisees. The subject is relevant because, like today's Christians, Pharisees thought they were God's chosen people. Jesus said to the Pharisees, John 8:44 "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." The Pharisees who believed they were God's chosen people were actually damned by God because, instead of obeying God, they chose to follow lies and the father of lies, the devil. So, too, Christians today who follow lies serve the devil and are damned by God because of it. Such "Christians" will be damned by God because, like the Pharisees, they prove by their actions that they have never actually known the God about whom they speak. John 8:55 "Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying." The apostle James explained why "Christians" who gave lip service to Jesus Christ but refused to do what God commanded would be damned by God. James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? Can faith save him?15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. In other words, according to Jesus Christ, serving God is all about deeds. As a teacher once said, "There is no meaning without application." Who, then, is a God Damned Christian? One who stands by and allows God's children to starve to death or be slaughtered by a murderer and does nothing but give lip service to those being slaughtered. Such a Christian does not serve God but serves self instead. For such a Christian to claim to be serving God makes such a Christian a blasphemer who teaches others they will be saved through faith in Christ Jesus even when they do not repent of collaboration with murder. They prove by their inaction and collaboration with murderers that they are children of the father of lies, the devil. And they, like the Pharisees who killed the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, will find themselves utterly cut off from the Holy Spirit of God unless they repent from their dead faith.
