REPUBLICANS MAKE PACT WITH DEVIL "Pro-Life" Leaders Crawl in Bed With Baby Butcherers Longevity carries with it liabilities. The article below was written over three years ago. Today it's certainly rubbing against the grain to say unkind things about Republicans. But I've been around long enough to see a few things with my own eyes. For instance, I was around in 1985 with Reagan's election was going to set baby-butchery aright as he appointed godly judges to the Supreme Court. Then we got Souter, etc. I hope I'm wrong, but don't say I didn't tell you when Bush lite turns out to be another like father like son show.

Yesterday the façade of civility was ripped away and the true face of the United States of America was seen. It was the face of total depravity.

If you ever wanted to know what total depravity looked like all you had to do was watch Newt Gingrich as he spoke to the Republican National Committee on 1/16/98. Outwardly his countenance bore the cool look of sincerity so favored by the television cameras. But that façade could not hide the horrible evil in his heart as he explained why the Republican party should welcome into its ranks people who saw nothing wrong with taking a baby a few hours before it was born and sucking the brains out of that baby so its delicate skull would collapse making it easy to slide its dead blue body out of its mother's birth canal.

Total depravity has never had a monster face. It's always been eminently human, even cultured, and sometimes even apparently humane. Yet it will rip, maim, slash, disembowel,draw and quarter a defenseless human body as quick as you can say Jack Sprat. That's total depravity. And that's the Republican Party and Democratic Party in the USA today.

We've known for a long time the Democrats were totally depraved, but the jury was still out on the Republicans. Well, the jury is in. Republicans are totally depraved too.

The Republicans agreed to get in bed with total depravity when they decided the word abortion is just a political issue like any other. That is a God Damned lie. Abortion refers to people, utterly defenseless in their mother's womb, people who will have their bodies ripped apart by totally depraved people unless somebody comes to their rescue.

Well, the Republican Party will not rescue them. That much is clear.

Neither will the huge majority of the present "pro-life" leadership in this nation, virtually all of who call themselves Republicans. Those "leaders" will cozy up to the face of total depravity and do whatever is necessary to keep the majority of the citizens sending them the money required to keep their "pro-life" organizations running, keep their cash cows spurting the mother's milk of politics even as the "pro-life" leaders walk hand in hand with people who justify butchering God's children.

Take even a cursory glance at what the Rebulicans are actually doing and you will see what murderers look like when they decide to rationalize their murders.

The Republican National Committee was asked to accept a proposal that would ban" support financially, or by in-kind contributions" to a candidate "whoopposes measures to end so-called partial-birth abortions."

Of course, the Republicans rejected such an idea and decided to give money to any Republican candidate whether they believe in murdering babies or not.

To see why the Republicans decided they would provide money to Republicans who butcher babies by proxy, listen to Brookings Institution scholar, Steven Hess. He allowed as how the proposal would be " pretty bad precedent. When you reach the national level, the national chairmen like to talk about their parties as a big tent. They want people to come into the tent rather than have people pushed out of the tent." Hess continued, saying there's a " tension between people who have to run for office and raise the money and those who in some ways are amateur politicians -- the ones who are more interested in their own intellectual and ideological purity."

Look closely at what he's saying. The question of whether babies should be murdered by having their brains sucked out is a matter of "ideological purity." Those who desire to stop the slaughter of innocent babies are pictured as " ideological purists." The meaning of his words are clear: "ideological pragmatists" must be willing to accept those who want to murder babies if the politcal process is to be"successful."

Increasingly, American politics is becoming like some Gulliver's Travels satire and parody without the benefit of it being fantasy. It's all too real.

It must be granted that the surreal and evil nature of the Republican Party is not being ignored by all Republicans. Tim Lambert is the Republican National Committeman from Texas. He is also a member of the nine person resolutions committee that would send the partial birth abortion proposal to the full RNC membership. He said, "Just because a person is a nominee of the party does not conclude they receive funding from the RNC," Lambert said. " Is the party obligated to support a nominee of the party regardless of their position? I don't think that if we had a candidate who was really great but was a pedophile, we wouldn't be having this discussion."

Lambert recalled the decision not to back David Duke, a former Klu (sic) Klux Klan member who failed in his runs for both the Senate and the Governorship of Louisiana. "If we go back to the race issue I don't think we'd be having this discussion," he said.

But of course this discussion is not about race, a political matter with millions of people willing to resist with every mechanism of resistance available. This discussion is about very small, unborn people, people whose own mothers and fathers are willing to see slaughtered in the vilest and most cowardly manner conceivable. Since such a pitifully small number of people care enough to DO anything about the slaughtered unborn, is it any wonder that the Republicans would decide that Republican "unity" and success at the voting booth is more important than the lives of such an unwanted and unrepresented group of people?

The face of total depravity is the most dangerous monster on the face of the earth.That's because the face of total depravity is worn by the people you have chosen to be your leaders today.

Abraham Lincoln, the father of the Republican Party, is not just turning over in his grave today, he's puking his long, lanky guts out at the horror that has overtaken the Republican Party in this generation.
