Buchanan and Keyes
The dream ticket? We haven't held out a lot of hope for our federal Republic in recent years. Of course the November elections heartened us a bit, but the "Contract" conspicuously neglects to include the 'issue" of childslaughter. (It isn't The Economy, Stupid; it's morality!) The new House and Senate sparked some hope, but is there really anything substantial here? The Constitutional Convention comes to mind. The issue following the Revolution was the building of a new nation. Of course economics seemed to many to be the indisputable priority. But there were a few voices among the founders, such as George Mason and James Madison, who objected to the fact that all the talk about liberty overlooked a whole class of people known as Negroes. Mason warned that slave masters "bring the judgment of Heaven upon a country. As nations cannot be rewarded or punished in the next world, they must be in this. By an inevitable chain of causes and effects, Providence punishes national sins by national calamities." (Benjamin Hart, Faith Freedom, San Bemadino: Here's Life Publishers, 1988, P. 333) Many, including no less a savant than Abraham Lincoln, have regarded the Civil War to be a veritable judgment of God upon the land for the national crimes of manstealing and slavery. Happily, there are actually some attractive candidates on the presidential campaign - thanks to Bill Clinton. (See how wonderfully Providence can squeeze good out of evil?) Let us turn our eyes to the dream ticket: Pat Buchanan and Alan Keyes. [Buchanan for President, P.O. Box 1906, Merrifield, VA 22116-19061
A Righteous Judge Is Hard To Find
How about Rudolph T. Randa, the federal judge in Milwaukee? He concluded that the FACE law is unconstitutional - on Tenth Amendment grounds! Ah yes, a Tenth Amendment revival. Roll back the Godless fed. And if it won't return power to the states, let the them refuse federal taxation of their citizens. And if the fed remains recalcitrant, let the states secede. Impossible? Give us one governor with the chutzpah to repudiate the fed and thousands will migrate to that state.
Congratulations Missionaries!
The perseverance of the missionaries of Milwaukee, directed by Rev. Matt Trewhella has been rewarded by the Almighty at the hand of Judge Rudolph Randa. Keep up the good work!
Deval Patrick
Director of the Clintonized Justice Department's Civil Rights Division is by all estimations a raving 'bort (although it is conceivable that he has simply bowed, henpecked, to the carping of the likes Elinor Smeal). He is zealous to prosecute Regina Dinwiddie under Elinor's FACE law for expressing intolerable opinions, but cold to the request to investigate the recent incident at Hillcrest abortuary in Southeast Washington where a man pointed a gun at prolife protesters (Washington Times, 18 Feb., 1995).
Law Suits
The trend continues. just as Klan-buster Morris Dees has turned his efforts against anti-abortionist John Burt in Florida, so Bible-quoting abortionist Bruce Lucero is suing Fr. Trosch. The goal, in the tradition of Dees, is to take depositions in the course of the civil suit to gain information which can be used by the government for criminal prosecution. The technique met with little objection when used against the Klan. And it will not be the first time that a draconian legal tool has been abused in the name of some good. The good of breaking the Klan through lawless means does not justify those means, just as the use of RICO to catch mafiosos not justify such totalitarian statutes. It is not right to pervert law to catch the Godfather; neither is it right to use RICO to punish prolifers as conspirators or to use law suits to discover something with which to make prolifers criminals. Consider the conspiratorial scope of the "Notice of Taking Deposition" indicated by Lucero's law firm, Hare, Wynn, Newell & Newton in Birmingham. There are seventeen points in this discovery: "(10) any and all records, recordings, writings, charts, notes, letters, documents, reports, or other written material... which relates to the operation, control, or course of business dealings . . . and any list of contributors, supporters, and volunteers... -(14) any documents pertaining to the doctrine or belief of 'Justifiable Homicide,' and any records, recordings, writings, charts, notes, letters ... relating to the above doctrine or belief, "(15) a complete list of the names, and addresses, of the supporters of the Justifiable Homicide' doctrine or belief, who signed a letter supporting such doctrine and belief, and the dates these supporters signed such letter ... '(17) any agreements, employment contracts, or any other correspondence, notes, memos, or other material that shows the defendant's present and former relationship as a priest with the Roman Catholic Church ... or any other agent or contractor of the Roman Catholic Church." When such depositions successfully produce incriminating evidence, the information gathered is then used for the purpose of criminal prosecution. (How convenient for the feds, when they have spent millions under Clinton to destroy the antiabortion movement, to have this tool of inquiry available to them.) And how cautious must be the defendants! Remember the Fifth!
Liberty & Justice, Inc.
Feisty and uncompromising, Vincent Heuser and Michael Hirsh were prepared to defend Paul Hill (no thanks to Judge Frank Bell who denied Paul the opportunity to put on the defense of his choice). They continue to seek justice for Paul as they defend others: Regina Dinwiddie and Fr.Trosch. Michael Hirsh was also representing John Brockhoeft's interests when he was paroled in February with draconian restrictions. But one of the restrictions was the actual verbal instruction to Brockhoeft from the Commission to get rid of his prolife attorney - because he was prolife!! Support LIBERTY & JUSTICE, INC., P.O. Robert Dornan
The Congressman from California usually makes loud sense when he rails against the leftists in the hollow halls of rampant legislation, but speaking at Nellie's March for Life in D.C. Mr. Dornan mess up. "Two wrongs don't make a right!" he repeated with reference to anti-abortion 'violence." Why is it O.K. to shoot the Cong overseas, but not baby killers on our own soil?
A Coup (Why can't we have one here?)
Flight Lt. Jerry Rawlings has ruled Ghana since 1979, when the military took over that confused country. He finally won election eleven years later. We have a confused country too. We just need a Ghanan-like military.
Quetzalcoatl Update
That serpentine god whose $500,000 image was erected in a park in San Jose last year has not gained a lot of popularity with the masses. The multiculturalist elites have fashioned an unwanted god whose nickname, Park God, spells what the serpent statue actually looks like - when the letters are pronounced backwards.
Lane Jackstadt
This Washington state trooper tried to dissuade a couple from going to an abortuary when he stopped them for speeding and they revealed their plans to him. He led them to a counseling center at a church camp, but to no avail. The couple chose, instead, to butcher their child. Officer Jackstadt was charged in Seattle with unlawful imprisonment and misconduct (USA Today, 16 Dec., 1994). Thanks Officer Jackstadt, for doing your job as a true peace officer and man of God.
New York in May
Operation Rescue (minus RT, KT, and FB) plans to block doors in the Big Apple at the end of May. We cannot condemn this minimal use of force any more than we can the use of lethal force which efficaciously eliminates the menacing practitioner of abortion. The OR ad in The Advocate (Feb.. 1995.) was a bit disappointing, nevertheless. Why denigrate those who have defended the innocent with force as people who "embrace violence"? Do the authors of this notice expect the blessing of God upon their project when they degrade His good servants? Holding our nose with one hand and raising the other in prayer we ask the Almighty's blessings upon this effort.
International Human Rights groups
Typically they expose the misdeeds of oppressive regimes. Amnesty International condemned the harsh sentences meted out by the Chinese government against dissenters in December. Nine political activists received jail terms from three to twenty years for "counterrevolutionary" crimes. No. It isn't as bad here as it is there. They kill many more than we do. But, then, they have less Light; we know better. And judgment is beginning with the house of God. First, the unseen children are killed in silence. Then their active defenders are prosecuted and jailed while the choirs of the churches keep on singing. And then the churches of the resistance will be sued and suppressed. But they will survive. And we shall overcome. The attention of Amnesty International has yet to be focused upon the persecution of those who defend the innocent unborn in America.
Gunn Family
Relatives of the abortionist terminated by Michael Griffin are suing prolifers and 'borts alike. Some relatives are reputed to be Christians while others, viz., David Jr., have taken to the road to promote abortion rights. Must be a family compromise. A wrongful-death lawsuit contends that Pensacola Women's Medical Services knew that Gunn had received threats and ought to have supplied more protection for the killer. Another suit alleges a conspiracy on the part of Don Treshman's Rescue America and John Burt, the regional director of Rescue America, and seeks to give these gentlemen the credit for Michael Griffin's good deed.
Flip
The ORN chief and successor of Keith (where'd he go?) Tucci has declared his readiness to absorb any bullets heading for abortionists. He and Cardinal O'Connnor have joined together in this ministry. Neither has yet volunteered to take the juice for Paul Hill.
Abortion Rate Drops
U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports that the percentage of unborn babies killed by legal abortions is at its lowest level in 15 years. Spokesman Lisa Koonin "said researchers were unable to explain why the abortion rate had shown a steady though slight decline [2.1 %]" (Washington Post, 24 Dec., 1994). The Clinton Administration praised the report because it wants abortions to be rare." (Not)
The Tank Lady Cometh
Human Events reports on a late January Boston Globe article which referenced a statement issued by justice Department chiefette Janet Nero (Human Events, 24 March, 1995). She was praised by abortophiles "for announcing this week that the Justice Department will be monitoring anti-abortion rhetoric." Ah yes. Words of truth as despised by those who hate them. The heathen who presently reign hate the Truth because they love the darkness. You know that when the Tank Lady brings the power of the federal government down on a small Mississippi town to prevent citizens from resisting the establishment of a sodomite recreation camp, the lady hates the Truth. Here is the statement issued by the Justice Department in part: The justice Department is reviewing statements and writings which seem to condone or encourage violence against clinics and providers of reproductive health services. We intend to vigorously and thoroughly investigate all such William Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights was astounded at both the Department's statement and the listless reaction from the media: "In the past, when the government has monitored the speech of black militants or antiwar activists, we have heard cries of outrage. Now we hear nothing even though the targets of surveillance include writers who seem to condone violence.'" Donohue also noted, according to Human Events, "that the general rule in law enforcement operations is that people cannot be monitored unless there is an element of imminence. That is, there must be a reasonable suspicion that immediate violence is likely to occur because of things that are being said. . . this is the difference between mere advocacy and incitement." We feel surveilled, friends. (Your tax dollars at work.)

REMEMBER WACO
REMEMBER WEAVER REMEMBER THE 10th
Bill Pound, executive director of the National Conference of State Legislatures is planning to map out a strategy for the states to take back power stolen by the federal government. Unfortunately specific issues such as gun control and abortion will not be topics at the conference. But all fifty governors are to be among the delegates (Washington Ti?ws, 6 Feb., 1995).
Regina Dinwiddie
Appeared along with your editor, Joe Scheidler and Don Spitz opposite an Episcopalian priestess and one NARAL wench. Regina was spunky as ever, despite the harassment she has endured recently under prosecution by Elinor's FACE bill? Regina is being prosecuted on the basis of speech incidents which are being construed as threats. All the citations are ones which ought to outrage even the most passionate among 'borts who believe in free speech. (But even Christians are sleeping through this one.) One instance is of particular interest. As reported in the Wall Street Journal (9 Jan., 1995), Judge H. Michael Coburn of Kansas City died of head injuries after falling headlong down a 12-foot shaft in an abandoned abortuary which he was inspecting. The bottom of the shaft is reported to have been full of "feces, urine, vomit, dead rats, and medical waste that had accumulated at the bottom of the shaft when street people used the building for sleeping and drug use" (Life Advocate, Feb., 1995, p. 24). This is the same town where Regina lives, moves, pickets, and razes hell. The Judge was not unfamiliar to Regina. He had dealt harshly with Christian friends of hers who had been dragged into his courtroom for their active opposition to abortion. Let us illustrate. In a letter to Judge Coburn dated 23 August, 1993 antiabortion cartoonist and activist Catherine Grayson wrote on behalf of two men whom Judge Coburn had recently sentenced to jail: 76 year-old William Pitts and 68-year-old Rex Noelker. The men had tried to recover their protest signs from thieves and were charged with assault. Coburn had found them guilty. Mrs. Grayson concluded her letter saying: The Bible says, "Thou shalt not steal." Taking two innocent men from freedom by force is man stealing, which carried the death penalty in Moses' day. You don't believe God can punish us in this life for our sins? Look at the Civil War South's devastation after they had stolen men from Africa. God will judge, be sure.
Do justice. Please let William Pitts and Rex Noelker go free. Signed, Catherine Grayson
Judge Coburn, who judged unrighteously, died on 27 January, 1994. It was the publicly expressed opinion of several local Christians that this man received direct judgment from God for his poor judgments on the bench. He did not do justice when Christians we represented before him for standing against childslaughter. He punished the righteous and let the wicked go free. Regina Dinwiddie also expressed her conviction that God had come down on the judge. On 29 December, two days after the judge went into eternity, Regina declared in front of the local Planned Barrenhood abortuary that 'God Almighty has struck down Judge Coburn and God will strike down other judges who support abortion." This declaration is cited as a violation of federal law under FACE by the Tank lady's Justice Department. It is not really surprising. The heathen in this administration are Yale-educated enough that they don't believe in a God who actually rules the universe and acts in accordance with his holy Law, judging wickedness directly from time to time. So when one of His servants speaks of judgment from this god who isn't there, the words are taken as a threat from the speaker. Medicaid For Abortion and a Tenth Amendment Revival? In the pre-Clinton era the Hyde amendment had barred such use of tax money. And when Clinton issued an executive order in 1993 to require Medicaid funding for abortions for victims of rape and incest, nineteen states refused to comply with the order. We're still looking forward to the expansion of such Tenth Amendment enthusiasm. Roll back the feds: exalt the Tenth repeal the Sixteenth.
CALL
Collegians Activated to Liberate Life continues its efforts to
involve college students in the anti-abortion effort. (It is good
to know that such a group is headquartered at the former haunt
of abortophile HHS Secretary Donna Shalala.) The effort is commendable,
but a recent brochure indicating several campus gatherings this
spring reveals a doctrinal flaw: a belief in the "absolute
sanctity of ALL human life. . ."
Human life is sacred, but not inviolable (Gen. 9:6). May CALL
keep up the good work of calling Christians into sacrificial service,
but with a little emendation of doctrine. Monroe St., Suite 107,

Jesse For President!
Jesse Jackson may oppose Bill Clinton in 1996. National Review
was enthused: "Reverend Jackson should have fun making
campaign speeches. There are so many words that rhyme with 'slick'."
"Evangelium Vitae"
The pope issued a 180-page encyclical affirming the truths which
have been declared by abortuary blockaders for two decades, viz.,
that civil law allowing "deliberate killing" of innocent
life violates moral law and thus "is not in reality a law,
and therefore is not binding" (Washington Times, 28
Mar., 1995).
"George Weigel, president of the Ethics and Public Policy
Center, said the pope's moral logic should rebut the idea among
some Catholic lawmakers that they can oppose abortion personally,
but not 'impose their belief' on others when making laws."
We think the pope did well not to oppose the classic church teaching
which calls for the death penalty for capital crimes. However,
we think he errs when he says there are alternatives to the death
penalty so that it should be very rarely applied. There are not
alternatives to justice. If the death penalty is what justice
requires, what else can he recommend? Something other than justice?
