Are Law Enforcement and Abortion Industry Leaders Using Support Personnel As Bait To Capture Clayton Waagner?

Staked out Like Lamb’s For the Slaughter, Today Support Personnel Have No Idea Waagner Has Them in His Sights.

By

Neal Horsley

(4:00 am, November 28, 2001, Christian Gallery News Service)  This is the fifth day since self-proclaimed abortion terrorist and one of the FBI's 10 Most Wanted fugitives, Clayton Lee Waagner, came to my home and left me with the responsibility to alert the support personnel of the abortion industry about the murderous terror Clayton Waagner intends to inflict on those support personnel.  While Waagner was with me, he gave me the precise details of an exercise in terror he vowed to implement as soon as he had given the support personnel of the abortion industry an opportunity to escape becoming his victims.

I have been interrogated by various federal law enforcement agencies--the FBI, the U.S. Marshal's Service, the Anti-Terrorism Task Force-- about every detail of Waagner's visit and about every detail of the terror plot he left with me, therefore there is no question that Clayton Lee Waagner's terror plan is fully known to the federal government.

Furthermore, I have no doubt that by now the top ranking members of the abortion industry--the abortionists, the leaders of Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Federation, and the National Organization for Women--know full well what I have told the federal law enforcement agencies.

But so far, neither the federal law enforcement agencies responsible for Waagner’s capture or the abortion industry itself has informed the American mass media so that the thousands of workers involved in supporting the abortion industry can be alerted to the fearful details of Clayton Waagner’s terror plot.  (***The preceding sentence is no longer accurate.  As of 12/1/2001 the local and national news media had been fully informed about the details of the terror plan Clayton Lee Waagner revealed to me.)

It is right here that this story takes an amazing turn: The news media of this nation is not accurately reporting the details of Waagner's terror plot!

As you read here the exact details of that plan, you will realize that the news media of this nation has utterly failed to convey these details so that the people who are actually targeted by Waagner can be warned of the threat to their lives.  This failure or refusal to alert these support workers about the terrible threat from Waagner effectively turns thousands of abortion support personnel into goat bait staked out ignorantly waiting for the Tiger while the hunters hide in the bushes waiting for a chance to shoot the Tiger when he comes to take the goat bait.

I know without a doubt that today most people who work in the abortion industry have not been informed about Clayton Waagner's plot because I have monitored the stories released by the news media across the nation and, not one media story has actually defined the new details that made Clayton Waagner's new terror plan an unheard and unimaginably shocking threat to thousands of people who don't even consider themselves employed by the abortion industry!

Who knows when Clayton Lee Waagner will start shooting?  I don't and neither do any of the law enforcement agencies in this nation.  But they do know that he has been recorded to be promising to begin shooting abortion workers soon unless his demands are met.

And while all this has been happening, the American people remain in the dark about this terror in our midst.  Even though Clayton Lee Waagner is clearly part of America's War On Terror, and even though strange things begin to happen in Wartime, keeping civilians in the dark about a clearly defined terrorist threat against them has to be seen to be a blatant exercise of the unauthorized use of civilians in the War On Terrorism.

The time has come to make certain that every person who makes even one dollar in any way whatsoever from the abortion industry has the opportunity to hear the exact words that Clayton Lee Waager told me.  Given the fact that those who should have taken the lead in alerting the general public to Clayton Waagner's plan of terror, you simply must help.

(What follows is a verbatim excerpt from the interview I recorded with Waager.)

Waager:           This is why I'm here.  I wasn't sure which way to go with this.  But I, I, don't want to kill abortion providers.  I, I, I, I mean I get sick at night at the thought of pulling the trigger on someone.  I do.  And that's the truth.  But I'm going to.

Horsley:            It's a horrible idea.

Waagner:          It is a horrible idea and I don't know how they do it.

Horsley:            You don't know how they make a living killing babies?

Waagner:          No I don't.  I just can't envision that.  And that, that fuels me.  There's no questioning.  My plan here was to stop abortion.  Uh, uh, the Internet question was, Did I post the message to the Army of God Web site?  Yes, I posted the Internet message on the Army of God Web site a couple of months ago, or whenever it was.  I'm sure they can tell that because of all the data I put in there.  But uh, uh, it [the plan] has been to stop them.  I want to give them a chance to quit.  But they [the abortion providers] are the people who are just completely committed to killing babies.

Horsley:            Yeah.

Waagner:          I have less problem killing them.  But there are some who just work at these places because it's a job and they don't consider it.

Horsley:            Right.

Waagner:          Well what I've been doing over the last nine months in a very orchestrated manner is, and this is part of that, is to give those people a chance to quit.

Horsley:            Right.

Waagner:          Because I'm coming.  There's no doubt about it.  I don't want to kill, uh, it's hard to mention them as innocent, but I don't want to kill innocent ones.

Horsley:            Right.

Waagner:          The ones who are doing it because they don't think about it.

Horsley:            Right.

Waagner:          And I'm sure they're there.  Well, I'm giving you a chance to quit.

Horsley:            Right.

Waagner:          If you don't, then I am going to kill you.

Horsley:            So that's one of the reasons you came to me, because you knew that Christian Gallery News Service could be an, an instrument that would allow those people to wise up…

Waagner:          Right.

Horsley:            …and, and consider what they're doing truly can cost them their life.

Waagner:          That's correct.  And it's going to.  This attack, this anthrax attack, should demonstrate something to them.  I hope it does.  I meant to.  I want it to demonstrate to them how truly vulnerable they are.

Horsley:            Right.

To fully understand what Clayton Waagner was saying in the excerpt above, it is necessary to see that Waagner makes a clear distinction between the abortion providers who, according to him, are "just completely committed to killing babies," and the abortion industry support personnel who "are doing it because they don't think about it."  As I understand Waagner's plan, Waagner does not expect the abortion providers that he has targeted to quit.  He knows they are wearing body armor and have fortified their places of business and their homes.  But he thinks it is a different matter with the support personnel at abortion clinics.  To Waagner, such support personnel are possibly "innocent ones," and Waagner's terror plan is to give those "innocent ones" a "chance to quit."

Waagner explained to me that he considered the possible "innocent ones" to be anyone who made a dollar off the abortion industry but had not really focused on the fact that a portion of their money was coming from the places where babies were being slaughtered.

In other words, Clayton Waagner might have already targeted anyone whose job involves entering an abortion clinic and thereby obtaining revenue because of the services they perform.  At one point he specified that this group of people could include anyone from the people who cleaned the building at night, to the people who delivered packages to the building, to the people who serviced their telephones.  Any person who falls into any of those categories might be one of the 42 people that Clayton Waagner has determined to kill.

Additional Verbatim Excerpts of the Waagner Tape:

Waagner:          I'm going to stop them.  I've already stopped a bunch and I'm going to stop more. [Unclear sentence.]  What I've done is I'm going to give them one more chance.  I want to give them people some [garbled: incentive?] which is to stop.  I know I can't kill them all.  But I have a list of 42 and this is to that 42: I know where you live; I know what you drive; I actually don't know all your names, but I've got your car license and I've followed you home, so I've got your street address. Because of the computer stuff, I've got some of them that I was able to cross check the street address and get your name and phone number, but I'll never call.  Now I have that data.  I don’t have to search for it anymore.  I got it.  42 is a lot.  If I kill 42 people, by golly I'm going to get some attention.

I'm going to give them a chance to stop.  Now you and I haven't prediscussed this so this is going to be an interesting concept.  And, uh, uh, this is developing as we talk Neal.  Mmm, because I'm not going back to the clinics, I won't know whether those people have quit.  So would you be willing to let them send an email to your web page, which I could check of course…?

Horsley:            (Interrupts) Sure, christiangallery.com.

Waagner:          Okay, here's the deal: if you'll set up a message board or something so they…Obviously I don't want them to give their name and all that.  But if they will give me the first letter or number of their license plate, and the name of the state they're in, and the last letter of, of, their, you know, if their home address is 123 Main Street, give me 3.  And the last number, not letter, but number of their home address.  First letter, or letter or number, of their license plate, which I have.  Last, last, we'll make it simple: I should have thought of this at the beginning; I'm sorry.   The first letter, letter or number, of their home address.

Horsley:            Okay.

Waagner:          Okay.  And the state they're in.  I can check my data base and I'll know who they are.

Horsley:            Right.

Waagner:          If you want to quit…

Horsley:            Right.

Waagner:          You can do that.  You can do it anonymously.  If you're quitting…Obviously I want people to quit tomorrow who are on my list.  Obviously I won't tell you who's on my list because that's the beauty of it.

Horsley:            Right.

Waagner:          If you quit, send an email to Neal Horsley and give him this information.

Horsley:            Right.

Waagner:          And I won't target you.

Horsley:            Wow.

Waagner:          I'll give you one hint, though.  Don't lie to me.

Horsley:            Right.  Right.

Waagner:          Okay, if you want to quit, want a chance to come off my list, email him.

Horsley:            Well, you know, that, you're right; we haven't discussed any of this.  And, and, the fact is, where I'm at now Clay is I'm going to go along with whatever you suggest, you know…You're in my house, you're armed…

Waagner:          (Laughs.)  And judged as the most dangerous man in the country.

Horsley:            …and I'm not going to disagree…I'm not disagree with the FBI.  I'm not arguing with the FBI.  The only thing I know is that I can look you in the eye and I can see a man who has, in fact, determined to go all the way.

Waagner:          I am determined.  I said in my earlier posting [to the Army of God Web site: editor] that I'd use every resource available to me.  There are some rules here, but there are few.  And, uh, uh, I am resourceful.  I hope that the Fed Ex attacks and the mail attacks [Recent false anthrax threats mailed to hundreds of abortion clinics, etc., which Waagner confessed to earlier in the interview: editor] demonstrates that resourcefulness. I mean, no one's ever done this, and I did.  I am resourceful.  And I'm probably going to continue to demonstrate that resourcefulness to them.  But there's so many ways I can hit them.  I've got the 42 list I've been working on.  It's been well publicized that I'm pretty good at car theft.  Well, I've been a licensed pilot since 1985.  It hasn't been published yet but…Eighty five or eight six; I'm not sure which…but I'm a licensed pilot.  An airplane's easier to steal than a car, a small plane.    I mean I could build a bomb and drop it on you from the air.  Just did the Virginia Dare [first European baby born in USA] Air Force.

Horsley:            Are you telling me that for nine months, after John Walsh made you America's Most Wanted, and you're on the 10 Most Wanted List of the FBI, and you've been basically roaming the country, in the United States of America?

Waagner:          Absolutely.  But what I've been doing is very specific.  I've been picking up information…

MASS MEDIA SILENCE IS BEGINNING TO END

Considering what you have just read, and considering the fact that the federal law enforcement agencies know full well that Clayton Lee Waagner came to my house and said every word that I have quoted in the excerpt above, do you not see the amazing strangeness in the silence about Clayton Waagner in the mass media of this nation?  Not one major media outlet has run a story about any of this almost five days after these events occurred. *As of Thursday, November 29, 2001, I began to be contacted by national media asking for the details of Waagner's terror plan.  So far, (Friday morning, November 30, 2001) those reports have not been aired.

IS WAAGNER BEING DARED TO START SHOOTING?

To Clayton Waagner, this silence in the mass media must be deafening.  He knows full well that I intended to report his visit to me at the first moment I untied myself from the duct tape he left me in.  He knew the authorities would have the complete details of his terror plan by Friday night, Nov 23, 2001, at the latest.  It's the following Wednesday, Nov 28, 2001, now, and to Clay Waagner it probably looks like the law enforcement authorities and the leaders of abortion industry are just daring him to come on and start shooting their support personnel.

As a reporter, I stand amazed at the silence in the news media.  I looked into Clayton Waagner's eyes a few days ago and I know he believed that he was going to start shooting people soon, and that they would be killed, and that he would die because of the things he was going to do.

This knowledge of impending death has driven me to contact the law enforcement authorities and to tell them everything I know.  The same knowledge, when it became clear that the authorities were not alerting the mass media, moved me to start calling reporters in other media, and to begin writing the series of articles you are now reading.

I did all this because I do not want to see anyone die.  I believe Clayton Waagner came to me because he got to know me through the things I have written and published on the Internet.  By reading those things, he knew I would not stand silent in the face of the impending death of anyone who is in danger of dying an untimely death.  He knew that's the kind of person I am.

What kind of person are you?  If you want to give those abortion industry support personnel who have no knowledge of Clayton Waagner's terror plot a chance to live, then you will pick up your phone and start calling every news media outlet in your area today and you will tell them about the story you have just read.  In doing this, you will join me in having done all you can do to try to help people to live who Clayton Waagner has targeted for death.  Fail to do this, and when you hear that Clayton Waagner has started to shoot people who make money off the abortion industry, know that you played a part in those peoples' deaths.  That's the way things have become in this time of terror in which we live.

UPDATE: November 28, 2001, 3:30 pm

One of the federal agents who interrogated me on Tuesday night called to tell me that they had begun to contact all the abortion agencies in the country telling them about what had happened at my house and the new threats that Clayton Waagner made while he was here.  I asked her if she had read the article above and she said yes.

This means that there is now no question whatsoever that every abortionist and his/her closest staff people know that Clayton Waagner is implementing a new phase in his terror campaign.  But--and this is a huge "but"--just because the abortion clinic owners and abortionists and Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation controllers have been notified does not mean that the support personnel Clayton Waagner has targeted will be notified.  In fact, it is probably in the abortion industry's self-interest to keep this story from being known to the myriad support people who make it possible for the abortion industry to operate in this nation.

That means the only way to be certain that every intended victim of Clayton Waagner has the opportunity to be alerted is if the mass media in this nation actually does what it is supposed to do in a situation like this.

Have you seen this story reported in the national or local media?

If you have not, it means the lid of silence is still effectively clamped on this story, and everything that I said above about people being staked out like goat bait for the Tiger still holds true, except now the national and local news media have joined the ones waiting for the Tiger to take his first bait before they report to the nation the Tiger is coming.

Please do what you can to alert the news media to its obligation to help abortion support personnel know what is coming.  Call them today.  I don't know anything else we can do but pray.

UPDATE: 11/29/2001 4:30 PM

MSNBC just ran the following article:  "Clayton Lee Waagner, one of the FBI’s most-wanted fugitives, is a suspect in a string of anthrax hoax letters sent to abortion clinics, Attorney General John Ashcroft announced Thursday. Ashcroft said the FBI had obtained information indicating Waagner had claimed responsibility for sending more than 280 letters to clinics across the United States. A senior law enforcement official told NBC News that investigators found Waagner’s fingerprint on at least one of the letters."

"ASHCROFT DID NOT elaborate, but an anti-abortion activist told MSNBC.com last Saturday that Waagner had broken into his home at gunpoint on Friday, then proceeded to confess to the hoaxes while boasting that he would kill 42 workers at clinics where abortions are performed unless those procedures are stopped.
"That activist, Neal Horsley, runs a Web site — christiangallery.com — that first gained attention when he published a list of doctors who anti-abortion activists want to see tried “for crimes against humanity.”
"Horsley said Waagner wanted him to disseminate the threat so that those clinics would stop practicing abortions."

Notice that the article does virtually nothing to alert the people whose lives are actually threatened by Clayton Waagner.  The article gives the impression that Clayton Waagner is threatening ordinary abortion workers when the people that Waagner has targeted, as quoted above, are "The ones who are doing it because they don't think about it."

Nothing Ashcroft said would alert the people who need to know they are Waagner's targets.  So far only one or two local newspapers in the country have written articles that would alert the people that Waagner says he has actually targeted.  Please keep contacting the media until everyone who might be Waagner's target has been notified of the grave danger they presently face.  Only in this way can we have a clean conscience when Waagner begins to shoot his targeted victims.

Final UPDATE: 12/5/2001 2 PM

The media blackout is over.  Clayton Waagner was captured in Cincinnati, Ohio while viewing this Web Site at a Kinko's.
