We expect to be sold out soon after advertisements appear in Capitol Area Christian News and Life Advocate magazine. You have in your hands an early notice. It is recommended that you send in reservations ASAP.

This Year . . .
We celebrate the release of Marjorie Reed. She continues to be harassed by probation authorities who pressure her to reject fellowship with anti-abortion activists (i.e. Christian brothers and sisters). But she remains strong in the faith since her release on 12 September. After his release last fall, Curt Beseda was re-interred in March for refusing to take psychiatric drugs. He remains in the Pierce County Jail in Tacoma, Washington.

We love these and other saints as much as Mother Theresa. (Incidentally, the decedent heroine wrote Jennifer Sperle a letter of encouragement just before she died.) And when we gather in January, we shall enjoy the reading of letters from these prisoners as well as other frolicsome activities. Shall we not auction some of their personal relics? How about cartoons and crochet work from Shelley, for example? (We are accepting donations of such items which we trust shall redound unto felicity among the people of God, levity to the sullen prisoner, and the greater glory of God.)

Your presence is important. The constant public support of the defenders of the womb children must be continued as a witness against their persecution and for the protection of the innocent.

We will not disclose the specific location of the banquet at this time. (Federal agents stole time from the Hampton Inn last year by demanding papers and time from the managers of the hotel. This kind of jack-booted treatment by our federal government of anyone remotely associated with the defenders of life forces us to withhold publication of the location of the banquet.) We shall disclose the information by mail to those who purchase tickets.

All donations sent in beyond the price of a ticket will go into the WHITE ROSE BANQUET fund. Money will be dispersed to prisoner relatives before the end of the month of January, 1998.
